Sea World

We went down to San Diego On Monday. My dad and Cheryl took us down there for the day. It was pretty fun. It was a little hard because you have to schedule in all the shows (dolphins, shamu, etc). and aside from that there isn't much else to do. There is the new Sesame Street Bay of Play, which was our whole reason for going there. Unfortunately, after we went to all the shows, Solomon was WAY too tired to get out and play. We got on their Abby-Cadaby starfish ride (which was their version of Disneyland's teacups) and Solomon was terrified. They actually stopped the ride in the middle because Solomon was clinging to Will and apparently the rule is "sit on your butt." We were glad they stopped it because he was bawling!!! It was super embarrassing though haha. We left at about 6, when Solomon got this bizarre second wind...it was frightening how much energy he had. We went to downtown San Diego, Little Italy, and ate at this fabulous Italian place. It was a pretty good day over all. Solomon slept VERY well that night, that's for sure! Again, we didn't get a lot of pictures due to the water factor...but we got a few.

Lauren and Rachel Time

Solomon loves his little buddies, Lauren and Rachel...oddly enough, they all look like they could be mine!!! Especially Lauren! We went over for some fun in the sun and of course they had a blast, apart from when Solomon threw two bongos at Lauren's head...ouch, it was a serious cry fest. She is only 11 months old poor little sweet thing.

Summer Time Water Fun...and Not

This July we got to go to Soak City, which is Knott's Berry Farm's water park. Their children's are is wonderful!!! They have a GREAT lazy river. Solomon had a blast. We went from 3pm-6pm because you get the tickets half price, which was about $20 I think for adults, and 3 and under are free. We didn't get many pictures from here because there were so many kiddo's splashing their little hearts out, but here are a few of Solomon and I wanting while Will, my dad and my youngest brother went on some "big boy" rides. haha






We also went down to the Long Beach Marina. There are TONS and TONS of boats parked there. Solomon loved it but the state of the water was extremely disturbing!
